Parent Service & Volunteering

Parent Service Hour Requirements

Working together helps to provide the excellent programs for the students here at Star of the Sea. Service is a critical component in Catholic education. With strong volunteerism, we are able to provide all of the needed services and activities that create the quality, affordable, faith-based education for our children.

Each family is responsible for thirty (30) service hours for two-parent families and fifteen (15) for single parents (includes families in which one spouse is deployed for a period of 6 months or more). Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends can earn hours for your family. Families who do not fulfill the requirements will be assessed a fee.

Mandatory Requirements for All Volunteers: Virtus Training and Background Screening
