Star of the Sea Catholic School offers a dedicated and caring professional faculty and staff with all teachers certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Over the last 10 years, Star of the Sea Catholic School has secured over 40% of our faculty and staff, delivering a positive, familiar stability to students and families. Our faculty and staff undergo a performance appraisal completed by the Principal throughout the year, and all teachers maintain the Diocesan Religion Certification – Handing on the Faith – which requires 10 hours of faith formation annually.
