Thank you for your interest in Catholic education, and more specifically Star of the Sea!
Star of the Sea, a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence (2011), serves students from three-year-old preschool through 8th grade. Being a Catholic school we have high academic standards that are rooted in gospel values. Our diverse student population includes students from all faiths and welcomes lifelong Virginia Beach residents, as well as those new to the area and those here serving in our military.
This is our 64th school year in the oceanfront community; we are very proud of our past and are also looking toward the future. As Catholics, we are called on to evangelize, Star of the Sea provides that opportunity to share and embrace our faith each and every day.
