The Star of the Sea School Student Council Association is sponsored by faculty, Mrs. E. Kellard and Mrs. B. Morris. The Student Council is governed by elected officials and commissioners from the student body. Students in the Junior High School run for office and vote. Grades One through Five elect individuals to represent their homerooms. |

| The 2008-2009 Student Council would like to thank everyone at SOS for helping make this a great year. While showing our STAR SPIRIT, we raised over $1,300. That money will help to support the Missions and our local community. The Student Council, on behalf of our school, has donated money this year to the following: Defeena Solomon, our student in India, St. Jude’s Children’s Fund, Catholic Relief Services, the great benches in our ”soft” playground, the SOS Library, Joseph’s Indian School in South Dakota, a church in the Philippines and Heifer International to donate a goat, a beehive and flocks of chickens.
