Pumpkin Facts
 

Pumpkins are a fruit.

Pumpkins are 90% water.

Pumpkin flowers are edible.

Pumpkins are mostly orange. Some may be white, yellow or other colors.

It takes about 4 months for a pumpkin to reach maturity.

Pumpkins provide a rich source of vitamin A and potassium.

Pumpkins can weigh from 15 to 30 pounds. Some can weigh up to 200 lbs.

Pumpkins grow on vines and bushes.

Pumpkins have hard outer shells.
