Mrs. Kreitner was born in Pontiac, Michigan. She moved to Massachusetts in 1980 where she eventually graduated from Salem State College.  She lived in upstate New York for several years, and then moved with her husband and two children to Virginia Beach in 1997.

Mrs. Kreitner’s two boys have attended Star of the Sea School since preschool.  After seeing her children in this caring and nurturing environment, she took a position at the school.

Mrs. Kreitner has been a cancer survivor since 1998.  Since then she has been active on the Star of the Sea School Relay for Life team, Wheaton’s Walkers.

Mrs. Kreitner feels blessed to be part of this school community with her family.  Along with gardening, teaching third grade is one of her favorite things to do. Sometimes she can actually do both!
