Ms. Kranz joined the Star of the Sea school family in 2007.
She is very pleased with being a second grade teacher and is so thankful and blessed for being able to work with such dedicated, loving and caring students, parents, teachers and staff. Finding this wonderful place has made her transition from New York to Virginia Beach easy. She feels at home.

Ms. Kranz was born and raised in New York, Bellerose, Queens. She went to Catholic elementary school (St. Gregory the Great- Bellerose) as well as high school (Kellenberg Memorial). Ms. Kranz is an only child, unless you count her dog Gracy, as her sister. Gracy lives with Ms. Kranz's parents in New York. Ms. Kranz graduated from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania, where she received her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. She moved from New York in 2007.

During Ms. Kranz’s free time, she enjoys going to the beach, camping in Lake George, New York and the Outer Banks, and reading. Over the summer, Ms. Kranz is attempting to learn how to surf.

Ms. Kranz is an avid hockey fan, who loves the New York Rangers, but can sit down and watch any game.
