Mrs. Dannenfelser brings eleven years teaching experience to Star of the Sea Catholic School. She has taught both Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten.

Mrs. Dannenfelser is a member of Star of the Sea parish. She enjoys her work as a volunteer member of the Star of the Sea Relay for Life team. In addition, she has served on the yearbook committee and organizes the annual Eighth Grade Luncheon.

Mrs. Dannenfelser is a product of local Catholic education having attended Holy Trinity School and Norfolk Catholic High School. She believes strongly in the benefits of Catholic school education. Her oldest child recently graduated from Star of the Sea and her youngest child is currently a student.  Mrs. Dannenfelser graduated from Old Dominion University in 1983.
