My experience has taught me that students love a challenge so I deliberately set the bar high and then teach and support my students to help them rise to those expectations. They do a great job! ...By the end of the year, I hope each of my students has acquired a love of learning that can be carried with them throughout their lives.

I am a sixth grader and have attended Star of the Sea School since kindergarten. What makes this school special are our teachers and students. My children have been at Star of the Sea for nine years and my oldest is now preparing to graduate and move on to high school. Star of the Sea has very high academic standards which have resulted in her being capable of succeeding at any high school avenue she chooses. As she makes this transition, we are confident that Star of the Sea has given her the educational, social and moral beginning which will guide her through the rest of her school years. |
