| School Board |
The School Board is comprised of parents (elected or appointed), faculty representatives, the church pastor and the school principal. Positions are also open to those outside of the school community. The board prayerfully acts as an advisory board to the principal and is responsible for third source funding (Auction, Golf Tournament, Grants and Tile Project). The School Board has five committees: Development, Legislative, Strategic Planning, Buildings and Grounds and Finance. This year, the board has formed an Ad-Hoc committee for the 50th Anniversary of the school in 2008. |
| The School Board meets on the first Thursday of each month except for Holy Thursday. Board meetings are opened to all of our parents. The School Board does not deal with personnel matters. Board members are elected or appointed to three year terms. All meetings begin and end with prayer as it is felt that the Holy Spirit will guide the decisions of the School Board. Minutes of the School Board meetings are posted on the bulletin board outside the school office. If parents are unable to attend board meetings, we ask them to join us in prayer. |
