Home and School Association
 
The Home and School Board is comprised of parents and the faculty. The board enlists a variety of fundraising efforts  and hosts school events throughout the year. Some examples of fundraising includeGift Wrap, Farm Fresh Supermarket Receipts, Box Tops for Education and Target. Proceeds from past efforts have enabled the school to purchase new library books and funds to upgrade our technology program. In addition, the board provides teachers with a 'Paint and Paste' fund to get those 'little extras' for their classrooms. Board meetings are held monthly and general meetings are scheduled during the school year.

FUND RAISERS

Raise funds for Star of the Sea School! Please remember to link your purchases to benefit the school. Some easy ways you can help the school raise money through our community are as follows:

 
Farm Fresh
  • Save your receipts from Farm Fresh and turn them into the school (via the Wednesday Envelope or in the box in the school office). The program allows the school to earn books, computers, software, sports equipment and more. This fund raiser runs from September to the end of May.
  • Double Points months are September, October and January.
  • Double your benefit by purchasing your groceries with a SCRIP gift certificate!

Box Tops for Education and Campbell Soup Labels
Save your hundreds of box tops from General Mill's Box Tops for Education products and Campbell Soup's Labels for Education labels. Send them to school with your child in the Wednesday Envelope or drop them in the collection box in the school office. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents!
 
Harris Teeter

When customers purchase select Harris Teeter Brand products using their VIC card, Harris Teeter contributes a percentage of those purchase dollars to the schools of their choice. To join, simply give the cashier your VIC Card and the school's Together in Education number: 2899 before your groceries are scanned. You can link your VIC card online here.
 
Food Lion
Register your Food Lion MVP card online or call 1.800.210.9569. Use your MVP card when shopping at Food Lion for SOS to receive credit.
 
Office Depot
Everytime you shop at Office Depot, remember to give your school ID# 70105135. Star of the Sea School will receive creidts to use for FREE supplies!
