Star of the Sea School is accredited by the Virginia Catholic Education Association (VCEA) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI).  The VCEA’s accreditation process has been approved by the Virginia council for Private Education Committee on Accreditation, as authorized by the Virginia State Board of Education.
